I’m a stress-free, fearless woman who always has it all together…
I am a nervous freak who panics every now and then about little things and has to deal with stress every day of her life. The thing is, I know that’s not good for me, and it’s not good for you either.
When I read through all those blogs and apps for pregnant women, amongst all the questions and doubts there’s a clear pattern: we are all nervous.
We are all concerned about the health of our baby, way before it’s born, sometimes even before it’s conceived. Then we keep on being worried after we finally hold our newborn in our hands and we won’t stop freaking out even way passed the time when they leave our homes and start their own families.
But science says worrying is bad for us, and let’s face it – it’s not nice to be stressed, it sucks. The anxiety we go through does nothing but aggravate any possible change of something bad happing to us our our babies.
Let’s put an end to that, let’s be a community of women who fight to see the glass half full and that stops worrying for things we cannot control. Let’s be a positive troupe that works towards a better mental health and shares messages of calmness and strength.
It’s a long road – I never said it would be easy. I’m the first one here who feels like there’s a lot to work on. But the reward is so great and the risk is none, so why not try it?
Let’s be in control of our thoughts. Let’s be warriors not worriers.
